Distribution of Two Sewing Machines

On Saturday, 21 November, 2010 with the financial help of Rotary Club of Dhaka Central Bangladeshi Systems Change Advocacy Network (B-SCAN) has distributed two sewing machines to the families of two disabled persons through a simple program at Panthapath, Dhaka.

Those Sewing Machines were given to Khairunnesa, mother of a seven years old boy of intellectual disability named Hussain Mia and Ruby, mother of Sunia, thirteen years of age who has physically disability. They are both from the same village Pashchim Gao of Demra.

The members of B-SCAN hope that these Machines will help Hussain and Sunia’sfamily to improve their economic condition.

Sewing Machines were given by Roterian A.Q.Khan as Zakat. In the program those sewing machines were handed over by the Chairman of Faisal Investment Foundation Business andManagement Co.Limited Chairman Rotarian Commodore(rtd) Ataur Rahman and Director, Rotarian M.Quasim .

On behalf of B-SCAN General Secretary Salma Mahbub, Joint Secretary Syeda Farzana Sultana,Treasurer Oronno Anam and Executive Member Mohammad Hasan Milon was also present there.
